History
So, a little bit of history for those unaware although most of you would know Dianne was a program creator and presenter at the station. She also undertook voiceovers for sponsors and still does to this day.
Dianne first undertook Radio Broadcast training in 2004 on the Sunshine Coast with Dave Daly from “The Heat” a well-known duo team with Noosa FM.
Details of Dianne’s two radio programs, Country Music Revival Mix and Blues on Tuesday, can be found on her Dianne Mead Music Facebook page

Future
Well, she misses radio announcing that’s for certain however there’s a lot to putting a show together. Dianne would spend at the least the same amount of time prepping for a program as she would presenting it and in most cases the show would be three hours long.
Then there’s the fill-in programs and voiceovers.
So, let’s just say that’s a lot of hard-working hours with no pay. Although we must also give credit where credit is due. Obviously, there are payoffs to presenting when it’s something you enjoy. Like interviewing and guest speakers, exposure and influence, autonomy, and generally suiting personality type or situation.
That said, Dianne had the pleasure of interviewing Adam Harvey, Jim Hermel for the Coad Family and Libby for Beccy Cole for instance.
Along with celebrities she interviewed locals, international Lions Club visitors, and enjoyed a regular addition to her Wednesday program with Yangan local and founder of the AFL Cardinal Cup Challenge, Colin Pope, for sports updates.

Dianne would also like to be known as someone who shared relevant information for the betterment of people and the community such as grant opportunities, health and wellbeing events and the like eg Disability Action Week and Southern Downs Suicide Prevention of which Dianne is a member and had the opportunity of being PR person. Let’s just say she’s been approached a few times and well, you may be hearing Dianne on the radio again soon, that is, besides on voiceovers.
Can you pick her “radio voice”? :)
You’ll just have to subscribe to hear more. WINK WINK
Pssst… little funny aside … coming from a legal background it’s amusing, though not surprising, Dianne is asked to voice law firm and professional sponsor ads. Listen out for that.
If you’d like to engage Dianne to create voiceovers for you and your business send a message.
